Discuss:
-discuss why Moses' mother would put him in a basket in the river
-create your own little Moses basket by looking at the sample photo
NUMERACY/ ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITY AWARENESS
Outcomes:
-prediction
-explores and investigates objects and events in the environment
-becomes aware between cause and effect
Directions:
-Place an old penny into a cup of water, place another one into a small amount of vinegar, and place the third into a mixture of 250mL vinegar and 5 mL salt.
-Leave objects on a piece of construction paper placed in the sun
-mark the water level on a clear plastic glass with a marker or a piece of tape.
-ask the following before any changes occur;
- What do you notice about the .....now?
- Do you think that it will change?
- How do you think that it will look the same? Different?
- How has it changed?
- What else do you notice?
- What other changes might happen if we leave it for another day?
