Bonjour!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Here are today's lessons:
Numeracy:
Outcome:This activity works on counting forwards and backwards.
Materials: Chalk or tape (green painter's tape works well), Bean bags ( or rolled up socks to form a ball).
Directions:
1. Create a hopscotch grid using chalk or tape.
2. Toss bean bags onto the numbers in sequence.
3.Hop from square to square saying each number they land on out loud as they go: left foot in 1, right foot in 2, both feet in 3 and 4, etc.
4. Skip the square with the bean bag in it.
5. Turn around with one hop on 9 and then count backwards to the bean bag.
6.  When they get to the square with the bean bag pick it up and return to the beginning.
Physical Education/Numeracy /Literacy
Outcomes will change depending on the questions used.
Learning Obstacle Course:
Place notes around the home in a random path in quirky places. Write letters or numbers on them. Students have to answer them and then stomp on them!

The photos of my handworking kindergarten students have been flowing in so today I have chosen Michael as the student of the day for the morning class and Cassius as our student of the day from our afternoon class. Way to go boys!
