Bonjour parents!
I have had many queries recently about what constitutes a
good snack for a kindergarten student. Hopefully today’s blog will help
somewhat.
We all eat with our eyes so the more colourful items that
you can incorporate into their snacks the better! Cut up veggies sticks, fruit
cubes, cherry tomatoes and sliced meat make excellent snacks. Tummies are
little at this age which makes snacks doubly important. We are having a snack
and not a lunch so whole sandwiches are a bit much.
As we are trying to help our environment as much as possible
I am asking if you could please try to use reusable containers and not plastic
bags. Reusable water bottles are perfect as I have asked the students not to
bring juice or milk this year.
